The first prototype laser weapons have been made operational with Russia’s Armed Forces, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said. Borisov made this statement on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center - All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics (RFNC-VNIIEF).
