India is on the way to acquire 100 new K9 Vajra 155mm tracked sel-propelled howitzer for the Indian army. A contract is expected to be signed in the next few months with the South Korean Defense Company Samsung-Techwin and its Indian partner Larsen & Toubro (L&T).
