Taiwan's first unit in a new class of 12 catamaran corvettes was christened Friday. The "Tuo River" was Christined during a cereomny held in Suao in northeastern Taiwan's Yilan county. The corvette will undergo a series of sea trials before its commissioning expected in the first half of 2015.
